4th of July Parade is fourth in a series of La Porte Tradition Posters launched in 2021 by gallery owners Thaddeus and Laura Cutler. Even though parades have taken place in La Porte since the late 1800s, it wasn’t until the La Porte Jaycees (Junior Chamber of Commerce) made our 4th of July Parade official in 1946. Since nearly its inception the sitting Governor of the State of Indiana has proclaimed the City of La Porte Capital for the day. The original oil painting of the parade was painted by Laura in 2026. Both sizes of the poster are standard which makes framing easy.
