Predominately a landscape painter, Ron has gathered material for his work from every place that he has had the privilege to experience or imagine. The discipline of working from life for twenty years facilitates his ability to paint from memory and imagination.  Ron finds nature an inexhaustible  source of form, color and shape, light and atmosphere offering endless symbolism, mood, design and allegory.
